Single Source Procurement: Metropolitan Area Regional Office Medical Entomology Laboratory

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to Fordham University to support ongoing currently funded projects.

The New York State Office of the State Comptroller’s Bureau of Contracts on 9/21/22 approved a request for exemption from giving notice in the New York State Contract Reporter for the Metropolitan Area Regional Office Medical Entomology Laboratory from Fordham University.

Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
