Single Source Procurement: Opioid Overdose Prevention Program
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law §163.10(b), the New York State Department of (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
Through this contract, the NYSDOH AIDS Institute contracts with Emergent Devices for a supply of an FDA approved intranasal drug used to reverse potentially fatal opioid overdoses. Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement is not feasible in this instance.
