Single Source Procurement: Syringe Exchange/Drug User Health Contract Amendment
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law §163.10(b), the New York State Department of (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
The AIDS Institute is amending this contract for the purchase of equipment that will be used to provide point-of-care drug checking services to protect individuals being engaged by CASJ or already seeking services within their agency. This point-of-care testing technology has the capacity to rapidly detect and quantify the amount of a variety of compounds, including fentanyl and xylazine.
