Event: New York State Drinking Water Quality Council to Meet on Wednesday, June 28, 2023

What: The New York State Drinking Water Quality Council (DWQC) will hold a meeting to provide updates and address a new list of emerging contaminants as well as the U.S. EPA proposed MCL rulemaking for PFAS.

Date: Wednesday, June 28, 2023

Time: 10am

Where: The meeting will be held in person for council members and is open to the public at the below locations. The meeting may also be viewed via live Webcasting.

Public Comments: Public comment may occur either in-person or remotely, with pre-registration available by visiting the DWQC website, then clicking the webcast link, followed by the Public Comment tab. The DWQC website also includes instructions for those who wish to make public comment remotely via Zoom.

Public comment can also be submitted in writing in advance of the meeting by e-mailing DWQC@health.ny.gov. Written comments received by close of business on June 26th will be given to DWQC Members prior to the meeting. We request that those who make comments identify themselves and their affiliation.

Please note: No registration is required to attend the meeting in person or to remotely view the webcast; only those wanting to make a public comment need to register.

Webcasts of the meetings are posted on the New York State Department of Health's Drinking Water Quality Council website for one year within two weeks following the meeting.
