Karen Yates has worked at Putnam County Department of Health (PCDOH) for 12 years. In that time, Karen has proved to be a true "team player". Although Karen is assigned to the Health Education Unit, she assists almost every division within the Department whenever someone needs help. Karen is often figuring out a computer program for someone in Environmental Health, researching information for a nurse colleague or phoning a vendor to get pricing information for something in the emergency preparedness program. She is meticulous about meeting deadlines for our numerous press releases, and manages all advertising for our services to our community. Karen's assistance during the Department's ongoing Public Health Accreditation program approval has been invaluable. She consistently works with a smile and a wonderful attitude. Karen Yates is well deserving of recognition as a member of the Public Health Works Honor Roll.
