Cross-Connection Control Program
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Revisions were made to the Public Health Law, specifically Subdivisions 9 and 10 of Section 225, that no longer obligate the New York State Department of Health (Department) to issue backflow tester certifications. Effective March 1, 2011, the Department will no longer issue initial backflow tester certifications. Effective May 1, 2011, the Department will no longer issue renewal backflow tester certifications.
