Single Source Procurement: Replacement Ventilator Batteries
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. CareFusion is the original manufacturer of the LTV-1200 ventilator and is the only source for the procurement of replacement batteries that do not void the preventative maintenance agreement.
