Single Source Procurement: Immunization Action Plan Technical Assistance

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible The Department recently issued a contract reporter advertisement seeking qualified organizations to facilitate information sharing and provide professional communications, outreach, technical assistance and training and education on current and emerging public health issues related to immunization to 57 county health departments. The purpose of the advertisement was to determine if there exists a pool of eligible vendors that would participate in a solicitation. NYSACHO was the only responder who met all the required qualifications. NYSACHO is a not-for-profit corporation which serves as a membership organization representing all 57 county health departments in New York State and the City of New York’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
