The Medicaid Prescriber Education Program (MPEP) is a partnership between the Department of Health (DOH) and the State University of New York (SUNY) Medical and Pharmacy Institutions. MPEP offers prescribers an evidence-based, non-commercial source of objective information about pharmacotherapy.

The goal of the program is to optimize the quality of care for New York State Medicaid members by providing prescribers with the most current information on best practices in pharmaceuticals and therapeutics.
