Notification of Updated Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS) Rate Sheet

To: CFTSS Providers and Medicaid Managed Care Plans (MMCPs), including Mainstream Managed Care Plans and HIV Special Needs Plans

Effective April 1, 2023, Medicaid rates for CFTSS have been adjusted to include a 4% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), per the 2023-2024 New York State Enacted budget. This adjustment has been approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the New York State Division of Budget (DOB).

MMCPs must configure their systems to pay the updated rates for these services no later than 90 days from the date of this announcement. MMCPs must also issue retro- active payment adjustments to providers for any claims previously paid for CFTSS with dates of service on or after April 1, 2023. MMCPs are not permitted to halt or delay payments to providers while this reconfiguration is in process.

Providers will receive a lump sum payment adjustment for any Fee-for-Service (FFS) claims for CFTSS with dates of service on or after April 1, 2023. No action from providers will be needed to obtain these payment adjustments.
