We are pleased to announce completion of Medicaid Redesign Team (MRT) Project #90, the Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) transition. This multi–year project began in 2011 as one of our key Phase 1 Medicaid Redesign efforts, and benefits thousands of New Yorkers. MRT #90 required the mandatory transition and enrollment of certain community-based long term care services recipients into Managed Long Term Care. This project, which was initiated in 2012 with approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, is designed to integrate services and improve health outcomes for individuals in need of community based long term services and support.
