Media Advisory - Event: The New York State Department of Health Will Host Public Informational Sessions for Newburgh Area Residents to Discuss Blood Test Results and Response to PFOS Contamination

What: As part of the state's response to PFOS contamination in Newburgh, staff from the New York State Department of Health will be available at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center on Thursday, March 30 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. to present blood test results and answer questions from residents concerned about past exposure to PFOS.

New York State identified PFOS in the City of Newburgh's drinking water supply that occurred from fire-fighting foam used at Stewart National Guard Base.
