Media Advisory: Medicaid Redesign Team (MRT) II Will Hold Second MRT II Member Meeting as Scheduled on March 10 in New York City

ALBANY, N.Y. (March 9, 2020) - The New York State Medicaid Redesign Team (MRT) II members will convene, as planned at 12:00 noon on March 10 in New York City, to continue collaboration on a final report to be submitted for consideration in the Fiscal Year 2021 Enacted Budget.

The New York State Department of Health understands that due to the concerns surrounding Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), many may be concerned about the status of this meeting. While this event is open to the public, people are reminded to stay home if they are sick or immune compromised and instead, join the meeting via live webcast. As recommended by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), if anyone attending Tuesday's event begins to have symptoms of COVID-19, which include fever, cough and shortness of breath, they should leave the event and seek medical advice.
