Media Advisory: New York State Drinking Water Quality Council to Meet on October 5, 2021

What: The New York State Drinking Water Quality Council (DWQC) will hold its next meeting to review updates regarding Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) implementation, occurrence data for regulated and unregulated contaminants and PFAS toxicology; DEC site-related data on additional emerging contaminants; and apath forward for additional emerging contaminant listing.

The public may write and submit comments during the meeting through a portal on the live webcast. The comments will then be read into the public record.

We are requesting that members of the public follow the below guidelines:
