Media Advisory: New York State Department of Health and New York State Office for the Aging to Hold Town Hall in Albany on State's Master Plan for Aging

Event: The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and New York State Office for the Aging (NYSOFA) are continuing a series of town hall meetings across the state to provide information to local communities and receive input on New York State's Master Plan for Aging (MPA). An upcoming Town Hall for residents of the Capital Region will be held at The College of St. Rose in Albany and online. Advance registration is required for the in-person event here or the livestream here.

What: MPA Chair and the New York State Department of Health's Office of Aging and Long Term Care Deputy Commissioner Adam Herbst and MPA Vice Chair and New York State Office for the Aging Director Greg Olsen will lead the discussion. They will outline the short and long-term goals of the MPA and seek comments and questions about the MPA, which is designed to ensure aging New Yorkers and people with disabilities have access to the programs and services they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives while aging with dignity and independence.
