Barbara Wright, Administrative Coordinator of the Children with Special Needs Division (CSCN) has a natural caring way with all she encounters on a daily basis. Ms. Wright works with her Supervisor to support the mission and goals of the CSCN programs. She has guided the support staff though the implementation of transcribed daily notes and a new process for physician orders in the Early Intervention program. She redistributed the duties of the support staff and ensured that they were all properly cross trained. Ms. Wright participates in State Health sponsored trainings in Early Intervention, including the Initial Service Coordination training. The knowledge gained from these trainings have be invaluable, and allow her to understand the intricate regulations of this large and complicated program with regards to service provider contracts, billing, data entry record documentation and retention. Ms. Wright also accomplished learning all the regulatory nuances of the Physically Handicapped Children's program in a short time and completed a reorganization of the program records. She is a tremendous support to both Professional and Support staff.
