Karen Bishop started her career with the Tompkins County Health Department 35 years ago as a Public Health Nurse. She has held many titles and is currently serving as Director of Community Health. Karen's work has made her an expert in the community on maternal and child health issues. She has been a staunch advocate for immunizations and is respected statewide for her work in the prevention of vaccine preventable diseases. Karen has dedicated herself to working with families in need to help them have the best health outcomes possible.
