Tina Peters RN, BSN is the Deputy Director of Wayne County Public Health and has been a loyal and dedicated employee for over 21 years. During her Public Health career, Tina has worked as a Case Manager and Discharge Planner for Wayne County’s Certified Home Health Agency, Supervising Public Health Nurse for our Prevention Services Department, and now the Deputy Director with oversight of our Children with Special Needs Department. Throughout her career, Tina has always exemplified the true purpose of Public Health by promoting the health and well-being of individuals and communities within the county. Tina has worked hard to implement changes within the Health Department to transition from providing direct services to more prevention-based services to better the population’s health.
