Margaret Searing, Quality Coordinator, Clinton County Health Department

Margaret Searing has served the people of Clinton County for over 14 years, starting first as a contractor to the CCHD in 2004 In late 2013 Margaret was selected to leader of their PHAB Accreditation effort and became the full-time CCHD Quality Coordinator in January 2014. During the next two years, Margaret served as the organizer and facilitator for all PHAB documentation prepared and submitted to PHAB in early 2015. A veteran Registered Nurse, Margaret improved accuracy for disease control and prevention work provided by the CCHD Health Care Services Division, while also lending her expertise on Prevention Agenda objectives, our Community Health Assessment and our Community Health Improvement Plan. Margaret's work was instrumental in the department becoming PHAB Accredited on March 4, 2015. In addition to her roles as the CCHD Quality and Accreditation Coordinator (now Re-Accreditation Coordinator), Margaret currently oversees the department's Quality Council Committee, Health Literacy Committee, Workforce Development efforts, and manages the County's Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program.
