Helpful Resources In Pregnancy

If you are pregnant, or are already a parent, the following services are available to help you and your family:

  • The Maternal and Infant Community Health Collaborative (MICHC) Programs are available to help pregnant and parenting women and their families in finding supportive services in the community to ensure good health and well-being. MICHC uses community health workers to assist women and their families in getting needed services.   • The Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program (MIECHV) uses trained home visitors to assess the health and social support needs of women and their families, provides information to promote healthy births and makes referrals to needed services.   • Growing Up Healthy Hotline (GUHH) provides information for pregnant and parenting women about accessing health care, nutrition, and other health and human service programs in New York State. For more information, visit: Growing Up Healthy Hotline
