  • Among children two years of age and older, the prevalence of overweight and obesity in 2017 remained stable compared to that in 2016 (15.7% & 13.9% compared to 15.5% & 13.7%, respectively). Hispanics had the highest overweight and obesity prevalence in all age categories (i.e., 17.1% & 14.3% for aged 2, 17.7% & 18.4% for aged 3, and 17.9% & 21.3% for aged 4, respectively), while Asians had the lowest overweight and obesity rates in all age categories (i.e., 10.4% & 6.6% for aged 2, 12.0% & 9.6% for aged 3, and 12.7% & 11.9% for aged 4, respectively).
