Julie Krauchuk, RN, MSN, FNP-C, working as the Director of Family Planning, has infused the Program with her vision, inspiration, and dedication. Among her accomplishments, Julie wrote a successfully approved application for a 5 year Grant for Family Planning Services from New York State; she increased availability of services by doubling the number of Family Planning clinics in her first 6 months; she also improved clinic flow and patient wait times; increased access to the Flu vaccine by offering it to every patient at Family Planning and encouraging extended family members to attend county Flu Clinics; and increased staff morale utilizing a team model approach. Family Planning is a featured program in Rockland County's Center for Community Health. Continued improvement and expansion of the program increases access to public health services through innovative opportunities for residents of Rockland County.
