Children's Stakeholder Regional Meetings Scheduled

        Special Needs Plans (MMCPs), Children's Advocates, Parents, Youth

As previously shared in 2022, the New York State Department of Health (DOH) is conducting a series of Regional Meetings to allow for in-person conversation and collaboration regarding children's services, policies, processes, and specific regional topics. The scheduled is outline below and registration is required for ONLY those who plan to attend in-person. Each Regional Meeting is scheduled on a Wednesday from 1- 3 pm. If the Wednesday date registration for in-person exceeds capacity, the venue will schedule another in-person meeting for the next day (Thursday) from 1-3 pm. At most venues, the meeting will also be streamed for those who are unable to attend in-person.

It is the hope that with COVID restrictions having been lightened, we can resume creating in-person spaces for gathering and collaboration in the form of these regional meetings. Please be aware, that these meetings will be canceled if necessary if any health concerns arise. Regions that do not yet have a host sponsor will be scheduled at a later date and by zoom, if needed.

DOH would like to solicit questions and topics to cover during these conversations so that discussions can be tailored to your needs. Please complete this survey to send in any topics and/or questions you may have no later than March 24, 2023.
