Dear Administrator:
This letter contains information for your Assisted Living Program (ALP) Medicaid reimbursement rates effective October 1, 2022. The State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2022-23 Enacted Budget provided for a Minimum Wage increase for home care aides of two dollars effective October 1, 2022.
Effective October 1, 2022, The Minimum Wage rate adjustment for Home Care Aides increased by $2 plus an adjustment for corresponding Fringe Benefits.
The provider-specific rates have been posted for your information at the following location under ALP October 2022 Home Care Aide Wage Increase
The payment for the October 1, 2022, rates to effectuate the Minimum Wage increase will be made in Cycle 2360, check release date 11/30/2022. Please note, if your survey was submitted late or was incomplete before the survey deadline the rate change will be processed in a later cycle.
